Featherlight Travel 
Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: May 28, 2025

These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the services provided by Feather Linn (“Travel Advisor”), an Independent Affiliate of Main Street Travel Co., LLC (“Host Agency”), to the client. By engaging with travel planning services, the Client agrees to the following terms:

 

Independent Contractor Status

Feather Linn operates as an independent contractor and is not an employee of Main Street Travel Co., LLC. All travel planning services are provided under Featherlight Consulting, LLC, and its associated DBA: Featherlight Travel. 

 

Scope of Services

The Travel Advisor offers trip planning services including, but not limited to:

 

• Research and booking of accommodations, transportation, tours, cruises, and travel insurance

• Itinerary design and travel consultation

• Coordination with third-party travel vendors

The Client is responsible for reviewing all details and confirming accuracy before approval and payment.

 

Third-Party Vendors

All bookings are made through third-party suppliers and vendors. The Travel Advisor acts solely as an intermediary and is not responsible for the acts or omissions of these vendors.

Vendor terms and conditions, including cancellation policies and refund rules, apply to your bookings. The Client is responsible for reviewing and accepting these policies.

 

Payments

Payments for travel arrangements are made directly to the vendors unless otherwise noted. The Travel Advisor does not hold or collect funds on behalf of suppliers.

Fees for customized planning, itinerary design, or concierge services may be billed separately and are non-refundable once work begins.

Changes & Cancellations

All changes and cancellations are subject to vendor policies and associated fees. The Travel Advisor will assist in managing changes where possible but is not responsible for fees charged by suppliers.

If the Client cancels a trip after planning has begun, the planning fee is non-refundable.

 

Travel Documentation

It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure they have valid passports, visas, vaccinations, or other required documents. The Travel Advisor will provide guidance but is not liable for denied boarding, entry, or related travel disruptions.

 

Liability Disclaimer

The Travel Advisor is not liable for:

 

• Acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, airline or vendor failures, delays, or cancellations

• Changes in itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances

• Financial loss or damage due to the actions or negligence of third-party vendors

The Client agrees to hold harmless Feather Linn, Featherlight Travel, and Main Street Travel Co., LLC from any claim arising from booked travel.

 

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is strongly recommended. The Client acknowledges that declining insurance may result in financial loss for which the Travel Advisor is not responsible.

 

Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

 

• Provide accurate traveler information

• Review all trip details and invoices

• Make timely payments

• Communicate changes promptly

Failure to fulfill these responsibilities may result in service delays or cancellations.

 

Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the state in which the Travel Advisor resides, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

 

Acknowledgment

By using the Travel Advisor’s services, the Client acknowledges they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
