Every itinerary I create is shaped by pacing, logistics, supplier stability, contract timing, cancellation windows, and real-world travel experience. My role is not simply to book travel — it is to design it carefully, so you can move forward with clarity and confidence.
To ensure each trip receives dedicated strategy time and focused attention, Featherlight Travel operates on a Travel Design Retainer model.
Featherlight Travel Process
1. Secure Your Travel Design Retainer
Before customized itineraries are built, a non-refundable Travel Design Retainer secures dedicated research and design time.

This allows me to:
• Conduct tailored research based on your priorities
• Match you with the right suppliers and accommodations
• Structure investment options thoughtfully
• Design pacing and logistics intentionally
• Provide two rounds of revisions within scope

Your retainer is applied in full toward your confirmed booking.

Travel Design Retainers begin at:
• $150 — Cruises & Packaged Resort Travel
• $250 — Custom International & Multi-City Itineraries
• Custom quoted — Group & Celebration Travel
2. Receive Your Featherlight Blueprint
Once your retainer is secured, you’ll receive your personalized Featherlight Blueprint — a strategic preview outlining:
• Why this destination and supplier align with your goals
• Experience highlights and overall pacing
• Estimated investment range and deposit structure
• Smart timing considerations
• Recommended next steps

We then schedule a brief design consultation to review it together, refine as needed, and confirm direction before full booking.
3. Build & Book
After alignment, your full itinerary is built and finalized in detail.

Two rounds of revisions are included within the original scope of the trip.

Once approved, your booking is confirmed, your retainer is applied toward the total, and ongoing support begins — from deposit through departure.
